Main Street will be closed between 3rd Street and North County Road on Tuesday, Oct. 13, for the Rail District Celebration in downtown Frisco.

The closure will begin at 1 p.m. for event setup. The event starts at 6 p.m., and Main Street is scheduled to reopen at 11 p.m.

Traffic on Main Street will be detoured to Elm Street. Traffic from side streets approaching Main Street will be directed to Elm Street or Oak Street and must use 3rd Street or North or South County Road to reconnect with Main Street.

A map of the closures and detours is available as a PDF. Parking for the event will be available in the new Rail District Parking Garage at 3rd and Elm streets. Additional public surface parking is available along Oak and Elm streets.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the detour areas and plan alternate routes. Drivers not attending the event are encouraged to avoid Main Street and use Eldorado Parkway or Stonebrook Parkway for east-west travel.
