A Decisive Blow to Arlington
The Washington Nationals dismantled the Texas Rangers 6-0 on Thursday, August 20, at Globe Life Field in Arlington. The decisive momentum shifted significantly in the seventh inning when Luis Garcia Chaparro launched a 397-foot home run to left field. That single swing drove in three runs, including himself, along with Luis Ortiz and Juan Soto Tena, to extend the away team’s lead to 6-0.
This multi-run blast served as the final scoring play of the contest, sealing the shutout for the visitors.

Vivas grounded out to the pitcher in the sixth, scoring Chaparro and advancing Ruiz to third for a 3-0 advantage. The final three runs came via Chaparro’s home run in the seventh.
